About us

Born from listening. Built with love.

Deep Compassion Group is a Sarasota-based nonprofit dedicated to meeting people in their most tender moments, and walking with them toward hope.

Our founder

Our founder

"I started with a single conversation."

Years ago, after losing someone deeply loved, our founder discovered that the only thing that truly helped her was being heard, without advice, without rush, without judgment.

She began offering that same listening to women in her neighborhood. One coffee turned into a circle, the circle turned into a group, and the group became Deep Compassion.

Today she leads a community of volunteers, therapists and friends who believe healing is something we do together.

Mission

To create accessible spaces of emotional healing and human connection for those who need it most.
